DIY Megasquirt ECU Conversion

This is my first attempt to create a so called "DIY" car engine management control unit for my junk Proton Wira.

I've choosen the well-known opensource ecu kit developed by Bowling & Grippo, the Megasquirt Electronic Fuel Injection Computer. The name MegaSquirt sound lusty but eventually it's not, the squirt is meant the injection of fuel but not the others that you might thought about.

Car Model: Proton Wira
Engine Code: 4G91 + 93 Block
ECU: Megasquirt

History of my junk car:

This car was bought new by my dad back in 15 years ago. This car is Wira 1.3L displacement with Mitsubishi carburetted 4G13P engine from factory. The car was stock standard for many years until I took over 3 years back.

The stock standard 4G13P 1.3L SOHC Carburetted:

The engine condition of the car was degraded over 12 years of operation when I took over it as my daily drive. I was decided to transplant the engine to a newer and upgraded displacement 4G91 DOHC 1500cc imported as junk from japan which I found on the junkyard around. The new engine is in great condition as the cam is still shining under the cover. The engine eventually fitted in my car, but it's still carburetted.

4G91 DOHC 1.5L Carburetted:

Few months later, I was not satisfied with the performance of the new engine, I bought a 1.8 SOHC engine block and MMC injection kit from newer stock wira 1.5. The car was admitted again for operation, now the car was fitted with a new 1.8L block and fuel injected.

1.8L Injection Engine Take Place:

The performance and fuel consumption is not right after matching the 4G15P ecu in a 1.8L engine. Due to very limited budget, I've decided to build my own ecu to fit in my car. Here is the start of megasquirt conversion take place.
